Successful development of transient battery -Lithium - Ion Battery Equipment



In general, electronic devices are designed and produced for longer endurance, but there are naturally exceptions, such as "Transient Electronics" to be introduced in this article. Now scientists from Iowa State University have designed a battery for such devices, which will decompose when immersed in water. Under what circumstances should these designs be used? The research team led by Professor Reza Montazami created a 2.5V lithium battery that can drive the desktop calculator for about 15 minutes, and it will completely decompose after being immersed in water for about half an hour. According to Reza Montazami, "This is the first practical transient battery, which can not only provide battery supply, but also have stable and environmentally friendly characteristics."
