2019 Bolt owners who haven't had their battery modules replaced can get a software update from dealers that lifts the restrictions starting November 19th. The company spokesman said the new software will automatically limit the vehicle's maximum charge level to 80%, which reduces the vehicle's battery life, but owners no longer have to follow GM's previous rules, that is, the vehicle cannot be parked indoors, and cannot be parked indoors. "This decision allows us to continue to prioritize recalls and repairs," the company said in a statement. "We will notify employees of our production schedule for early 2022 in due course, and until then we will continue to focus on battery module replacement." Work."
