Judging from the series of policies issued before, the focus is on strengthening the cascade utilization and recycling management of power lithium batteries, guiding power lithium battery production companies to strengthen the recycling of used power lithium batteries, encouraging the development of professional recycling companies, and clarifying power lithium batteries. Technical standards and management requirements for collection, storage, transportation, treatment, recycling and final disposal. In addition, in order to speed up the construction of the new energy vehicle after-sales service system, research and formulate policies for the recycling and utilization of power lithium batteries, explore the use of funds, deposits, compulsory recycling and other methods to promote the recycling of used power lithium batteries, and establish and improve the recycling system of used power lithium batteries.

Due to the rapid increase in sales of electric vehicles, the price of lithium-ion battery materials has risen rapidly. At present, the price of battery-grade lithium carbonate ranges from 160,000 to 170,000 yuan per ton. The prices of cathode materials, separators, electrolytes and core materials such as lithium hexafluorophosphate have increased several times compared with the beginning of last year, and the value of lithium battery recycling has begun to increase. appear. At the same time, with the rising prices of lithium battery raw materials, lithium battery recycling has become more economical and urgent. Relevant companies will also continue to pay attention to the development of lithium battery recycling field, which is expected to form a new profit point.

The agency predicts that, driven by policies such as the follow-up car point system and the liberalization of electric vehicle production qualifications, new energy vehicles will maintain a rapid development trend. The increase in sales of electric vehicles will bring huge market space to the lithium-ion battery recycling market, and relevant companies that have already made business layouts are expected to gain first-mover advantages.
